| I don't know how this happened, but apparently I'm listed as "head of household" for our house in Taiwan. I have fond memories growing up in the "countryside" of Hsin-Chu. My house was a three-storey red brick building with a balcony of white baulstrade. There was a little pond replete with fat carp. Surrounding the property was a camphor tree and jasmin hedges. Passion fruit vines climbed over the garage. My brother and I had wicked childhoold playing various pranks including throwing sand down on pedestrians from our roof-top sandbox; shooting dogs with giant syringes and drowning ants and catepillars. I never got the chance to visit on the two occasions when I went back to Taiwan. It's been fourteen years! |
